When my wife received the link about retiring in Panama, she started looking into it. She started looking at websites, blogs and then she brought the idea up to me. We were living a comfortable life. The kids were grown and married with kids of their own. We had added on to our house twice and built a 4 car garage behind our house for our 3 show cars. We installed solar panels and central air conditioning. We figured we would live there forever. My wife had a pension and social security and I would get social security when I turned 62. The more we talked about it, the idea didn’t seem that far fetched.
